Taking inspiration from cult films such as 'Lolita' and 'Lost in Translation' Miniaci's work is both playful in concept and elegant in execution.

His sexy linear oil drawings of the young and beautiful are highly decorative but also mysterious; he only gives us half the story, we the viewer must complete the picture.

In 1996 Gianluca Miniaci completed his training at the School of Contemporary Art, New York. He returned to his native city of Milan to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the world famous Brera Academy of Fine Arts. His Paintings have since been exhibited extensively throughout Italy and he has had two sell out exhibitions at the Connoisseur Gallery, Hong Kong.
